TELUS chooses HomePNA for IPTV Distribution
CopperGate Communications announced that
TELUS has selected CopperGate's HomePNA 3.1 technology integrated into set-top
boxes and residential gateways for its TELUS TV service offering. TELUS is a
leading provider of high-speed Internet, voice, and wireless communications
services in Canada.
CopperGate's chipsets provide a complete HomePNA 3.1 home networking solution
that operates over both coax cables and phone wires. CopperGate chipsets are the
first to comply with the ITU G.9954 (HomePNA 3.1) home networking standard and
feature guaranteed parameter-based service levels and powerful remote management
and diagnostics capabilities. HomePNA 3.1 technology is being deployed today by
AT&T and other major telecommunication companies worldwide.
