Netia Acquires Tele2 Poland
Tele2 AB announced that it has sold its
Polish operation to Netia. Netia will pay in cash approximately SEK 300 million
on a debt and cash free basis. Completion is expected following approval from
the relevant regulatory authorities.
At the end of March 2008, Tele2 Poland had approximately 15,000 fixed broadband
customers and 716,000 fixed telephony customers. Tele2 Poland affected Tele2's
net sales in 2007 by SEK 952 million and EBITDA by SEK 43 million.
